Today we’ll take a look at how to find a Pantone color in Photoshop. If you’re a graphic designer or someone who works with colors, you probably know the importance of using the right color for your projects. Luckily, Photoshop has all of the Pantone colors built in. Let’s look at where we can find them.

How to Find a Pantone Color in Photoshop

Step 1

To find Pantone in Photoshop, first double-click the Foreground Color to open the Color Picker window. 

Choose Color Libraries on the right-hand side of the Color Picker window.

Step 2

From the Book dropdown menu, you can choose between three groups of Pantone colors:

  • Pantone+ CMYK Coated
  • Pantone+ CMYK Uncoated
  • Pantone+ CMYK Metallic Coated 

If you know the exact Pantone color code, you can type the code to find the exact match.
