Exciting New Tools for Designers, June 2025

Another month, another roundup packed with design tools that use artificial intelligence features to supercharge your workflows.

Expect this trend in new design, development, and productivity tools to continue for a while. (And hopefully, some of these tools actually help you work smarter and faster!)

Here’s what’s new for designers.

Magic UI is a set of more than 150 open-source animated components and effects that you can use for website design projects. There are elements for almost anything you can imagine – that’s the magic part – and everything is built with React, Typescript, Tailwind CSS, and Motion.

Flow was just introduced by Google as a new AI-based film-making tool. From Google: “It’s built by and for creatives, and it’s the only AI filmmaking tool custom-designed for Google’s most advanced models — Veo, Imagen, and Gemini. Flow can help storytellers explore their ideas without bounds and create cinematic clips and scenes for their stories. It’s early days, and we’re excited to shape the future of Flow with creatives and filmmakers.”

Have you thought about trying to create your own AI agents, but have no idea where to start? Solar solves that problem. It helps you build custom AI agents, workflow automation, and full-stack apps quickly. The best feature is that it all works in a no-code environment, allowing you to focus on the task at hand.

The new Jogg AI Ad Generator takes some of the work out of a task few of us love – creating digital ad designs. The tool helps you create still and video ad assets with plenty of stock elements or avatars, and you can add your products to the mix to create AI-generated ads that are designed to convert. It will even turn any URL into a video ad.

Cursor is an AI code editor that predicts code as you type – think of it as autocorrect for code. It learns and knows your codebase so you can get answers from previous code or let the AI predict next steps. Cursor also lets you write code using instructions and update entire classes or functions with a simple prompt.

Copy and paste between devices, save clipboards, and more with Paste 5.0. The clipboard manager tool helps organize your design life so you don’t lose all those nuggets you are saving to use later. (You know we all do it!) Plus, the best feature might be that you can collaborate and share items from your clipboard.

Still in an invitation-only release, Tapflow allows you to take your notes and ideas and turn them into sellable items and products with a little help from artificial intelligence. Create systems, templates, or playbooks for your team to build efficiency or sell in online marketplaces to help others learn from things you have already mastered.

DeckSpeed is an AI presentation tool that creates professional, personalized slides based on prompts and without templates. It can generate three-dimensional models or images, different slide types, and charts with just one click. When used well, this can go way faster than some of those traditional slide-building tools.

There are few things as useful on a daily basis as a good Chrome extension. Copy as Markdown is an extension that can transform any web content into clean, formatted markdown with a single click. Perfect for copying content from websites to an LLM or AI chat like ChatGPT. You can also paste formatted text and have it converted to markdown.
